Camps
Ontario Parks is breaking down the barriers for persons with disabilities, making it possible for those in wheelchairs, or with visual or other impairments to enjoy the natural environment. Whether this takes the form of a picnic area, campsite, self-guided trail or playground, park facilities are being made more accessible. Today, there are facilities for campers and day visitors with disabilities in many of Ontario's operating provincial parks.
Finding a Summer Camp
The Ontario Camping Association publishes an annual camping guide of accredited member camps. Listing specialty camps, day camps, and residential camps, the guide has information to help you choose the right camp. Special committees and training workshops maintain standards and provide quality camping in Ontario. For more information on finding a Summer Camp, click here.
